'Big Smoke People'
Extracts from an ongoing series of portraits on the streets of London.
Billy Macrae is originally from Bristol, in the South West of the UK.
After moving to London in 2008, this project began as a way for him to engage visually with his new hometown,
the huge, sometimes isolating city affectionately known as 'The Big Smoke'.
It has been exhibited in various forms, most recently at ROOM gallery, in Shoreditch, East London.
