Feature: Big Smoke People
'Big Smoke People' is the latest long-term project by London-based photographer Billy Macrae.
Shot over three years, in tandem with the acclaimed activist project 'Moments of Protest', this
newly compiled series represents further detailed exploration of street life and communal space in the
British capital.
This time, the subject is not the political activists living in the area, but instead the daily routines
and experiences -alternately mundane, then beautiful- of the people who live in the city
affectionately known as 'The Big Smoke'.
