Feature: Moments of protest
Shot over the years 2007 - 2009, in tandem with 'Big Smoke People', this is a study of
political activist culture in and around London.
Using a diverse range of political angles, as well as light humour and a hint of the surreal,
this project paints a picture of a city whose citizens take the activity of public protest as
seriously as ever - and are willing to take extraordinary steps to get their point across.
Images from this project have been published in the British Journal of Photography (twice),
Time Out London, Venue, Digital Journalist, Urban Velo and others. It has been
exhibited at various galleries, including The Emporium, ROOM, and Mutate Britain.
